The Styx is the FIFO archive of every casket banked below the limen. Each sale into an exempt signum descends here ; each purchase pulls the oldest soul back into the light. Nihil perit — nothing is destroyed.

Four rules of the limen.

    Crossing below the limenA casket sold to an exempt signum (LP, router, pair) falls into the Styx — the holder dissolves, but the identity does not.
  2. 02
    Summons from the headThe next buyer who crosses the limen receives the oldest banked casket. FIFO — first in, first out.
  3. 03
    Empty river, fresh mintWhen the queue is empty, a brand-new ID is struck — until the cap of 1 000 is reached.
  4. 04
    No identity is destroyedBurnt or banked, every casket persists in the archive. The thousand are eternal.
